Early Days:

Starting his career in the year 1989 at Akai Impex Ltd., (A Government of India Recognized “Export House”) helped in understanding the basics of International Trade Documentation, Finance as well as hands on experience in exports of Stainless Steel Bright Bars, Carbon and Stainless Steel Forged Flanges & Fittings, CR, Galvanized Sheets, Coils, Pipes & Tubes etc.

Experience:

With over a decade of job experience including overseas tours, Three Post Graduate Degrees out of which Two Separate Degrees in Master of Business Administration with specialization in Finance and another specialization in International Trade and Degree in Law laid the foundation to venture out on his own.

Growth:

Beginning 2000 he started by exclusively representing a well reputed producer of Stainless Steel Bright Bars, subsequently a well reputed Forging company producing Forged Flanges was added for selling their products in overseas market, along with other businesses. The next few years helped grow further by visiting over 15 countries, meeting leading customers of stainless steel bright bars, forged flanges, stub ends, custom forgings etc.

Landmark:

In the year 2003 Aakanksha Steel was incorporated. We also associated with Rampra Steel (India’s oldest & leading bright bar producer) by exclusively representing them for International Sales. The same year we started selling Indian Mill’s Flat products such as CRCA, Galvanized Steel Coils, Pre-Painted Coils, ERW Galvanized and Black Pipes & Tubes etc. Apart from above Aakanksha Steel made a humble beginning by directly exporting steel products to USA.

Another Landmark:

In 2003 we started exclusively representing Rampra Steel Industries, India’s oldest Bright Bar producer.

In 2003 we started exclusively representing Smita Steels, India’s biggest Standalone rolling mill mainly producing Carbon Steel Hot Rolled Round bars.

In 2010 we started exclusively representing Jailaxmi Casting & Alloys for International Sales.

Jailaxmi Special Steel is one of a kind mill producing bars & billets right from 22 mm to 600 mm in Alloy/Special Steel, Stainless ( 400 Series), Tool & Die Steel.

We supply to over 40 countries including End Users, OEM, Steel Traders & Stockist.
